In collaboration with Asia Pacific Real Assets Association (APREA), we recently hosted an insightful luncheon at our Mumbai office and also served as the Platinum Partner at the APREA India Conference, held in Mumbai. Titled "Expanding the Leadership Narrative: From Women Leader to Leader," the lunch forum saw top women leaders from the Indian real estate sector share their perspective and valuable insights on leadership. It also emphasised on the significance of creating a more inclusive, equitable and empowering culture in the industry. The conference brought together over 100 professionals to deliberate on the future of investments in India's real estate sector. Over several panel discussions, these thought leaders delved into the resilient and appealing nature of real estate as an investment asset class and future prospects across various asset classes. The 2024 Union Budget underlines the government’s focus on the poor, women, youth and farmers. There are no surprises for the real estate sector. However, the support extended to affordable housing will convert into a renewed push for this segment, which has been witnessing challenges in recent times.Samantak Das #India #UnionBudget #RealEstate #Opportunities #BudgetWithJLL
